The film kids have finished and turned in their film stills. This project was the transition piece from watching, studying and writing about films to creating their own. We spent a lot of time talking about lighting, mood, body language and non-verbal language. Most of the kids took all of these points to heart and kept them in mind while creating their film still. I have never taught this course before, and I am glad that my teaching is making sense to the students and that they are able to be successful and create amazing things with my help!
